Social Media & Marketing Manager (Part-Time)

Location: London (mostly remote)

Pay: £15/hour minimum, depending on experience and hours.

About Us

At Rainbow Nation Dance Academy, we run Performing Arts classes, with a big focus on active social community, tailored to the LGBTQ+ community. We’re dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space for queer people and allies.

As we grow, we’re looking for someone to help us tell our story, fill our classes, and engage with our community online.

The Role

We’re looking for a self-starter who can take the reins of our digital presence. You won’t just be posting photos; you’ll be building a digital “vibe” that matches RNDA .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Capturing photos and videos during classes (don’t worry, we’ll help!) and turning them into engaging Reels, TikToks, and posts.
  • Community Engagement: Responding to comments/DMs and engaging with local LGBT+ creators and groups.
  • Strategy & Growth: Developing a simple monthly content calendar to promote specific classes, events, or membership drives.
  • Email Marketing: Assisting with regular newsletter to our members.
  • Ad Hoc Magic: Helping us brainstorm fun themes for events or community nights and generally assisting with building the brand.

Who You Are

  • A Storyteller: You know how to capture the “feeling” of a room, not just the action.
  • LGBT+ Culturally Savvy: You understand the nuances, language, and interests of our community.
  • A Content Native: You’re comfortable with CapCut, Canva, and the ever-changing Instagram/TikTok algorithms.
  • Self-Directed: Since we don’t have a marketing background, we’re looking for someone who can say, “Here’s what I think we should do,” and run with it.
  • Experience working with performing arts preferred.
