Similar to our ‘general’ Dance classes, our Heels classes focus on modern Jazz techniques and styles, (think about what you see in music videos). Over a term you’ll cover various styles; Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Latin, Street/Commercial, Technical Jazz and more, with an emphasis on building confidence, strengthening your legs & stamina for heels and feeling sexy.

Each class involves an aerobic warm-up, then stretching and strengthening exercises specifically tailored towards core, back, legs & bums to help you become more stable in heels. Then we’ll do a routine. We’ll often repeat routines so you can go away and practice during the week if you wish. Despite the name, you do not have to wear heels, but we can advise you on the best sorts to bring. We also have spares if you can’t provide your own.
There will be performance opportunities throughout the year.


We do offer Advanced level classes for people with previous technique & Dance experience who feel confident picking up routines and can work at a faster pace. If in doubt about which level you should join then try the General first and we can always move you up if needed.

All classes are relaxed & friendly, with emphasis made on supporting each other and having fun.
There will always be a group of people going for a drink or food after class, so please join them, socialise & get to know your fellow class members.
